Python Developer – AI & Data Pipelines (f/m/d)
Do you want to do more than just train models and instead build the infrastructure that makes them production-ready? At go AVA, you develop scalable data pipelines and RAG-based services that provide our AI avatars with knowledge – using PyTorch, FastAPI and Qdrant in a modern microservice architecture.

As a Python Developer, you build AI-powered data processing pipelines that reliably scale the training and inference of our models. You develop Python services within our microservice architecture, work with Qdrant on vector search and hybrid retrieval for RAG applications, and build high-performance APIs with FastAPI. This puts you at the intersection of data engineering, ML infrastructure and backend development.
Your tasks
- Development of scalable data processing pipelines for training and inference of AI models
- Development of Python services that integrate seamlessly into our microservice architecture
- Working with Qdrant for vector search and development of RAG-based applications incl. hybrid retrieval
- Building high-performance APIs with FastAPI for our AI services and integrating ML models with PyTorch
Your profile
- Strong Python skills and experience with data processing
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or comparable ML frameworks
- Knowledge of FastAPI or similar web frameworks
- Understanding of microservice architectures and API design
- Experience with vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone) and hybrid/RAG retrieval is an advantage
- Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g. Prefect) is a plus
- Fluent German skills
What we offer
- Work on the infrastructure that makes AI production-ready in the first place – instead of notebook experiments, you build pipelines that run in live operation
- Hands-on RAG and vector search experience with Qdrant instead of pure theory – your code helps determine how relevant our avatars' responses are
- Clear microservice architecture with FastAPI instead of monolithic legacy code
- Freedom to actively contribute modern approaches such as hybrid retrieval or workflow orchestration with Prefect
- Remote work from anywhere in Germany instead of mandatory on-site presence
- A short, straightforward application process: initial call, video interview, team meeting
- Annual salary €50,000–70,000, depending on experience
Sounds like you?
